Dr V R Prasad Challa [MD, DM (Cardiology), FRACP (Cardiology)]

We take this opportunity to introduce Dr Veera Prasad Challa, MD, DM (Cardiology), FRACP (Cardiology), FCSANZ, a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians. He has served as the Director of Cardiologists at the Cairns based Hospital, where he was also the Associate Professor of Cardiology. He was the Divisional Director of Medicine at the Logan Hospital and is involved in the education and training of Medical students and junior colleagues.
Dr Challa brings with him over 25 years’ clinical and academic experience and is trained in radial route Interventions and performs echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, transesophageal echo and diagnostic coronary angiograms.
His special interests involve advocating for patient safety and minimising clinical errors in medical practise.
The services provided includes cardiac consultation services, investigation services, ECG, transthoracic echocardiograms, ECG Holder monitoring, Transthoracic echocardiograms, ECG holter monitoring 24 Hour Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, exercise stress tests (EST) and Exercise stress echocardiograms.

Dr Shashi Ranjan [MBBS, MD, FRACP (Cardiology)]

Qadrus Specialist Group would like to introduce Dr Ranjan who is an Australia trained cardiologist and a fellow from Royal College of Australasia. He completed his cardiology training from Princess Alexandra hospital, Brisbane, Australia. While working in various Australian teaching hospitals for the last 12 years, he has gained vast experience in dealing with acute and chronic medical and cardiac conditions. Currently he is working as consultant Cardiologist in Logan Hospital, Meadowbrook.
Dr Ranjan expertise include echocardiogram, stress echo, TOE, Holter ECG and CT coronary angiogram. He has special interest in managing hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure and general rhythm related disorder. He is actively involved in teaching and research work at Logan Hospital.
